Conspiracy to tarnish the reputation of Ministers Tinku and Sudhangshu, involved with chit fund

A so called fraudulent case has become the epicenter of public fury surrounding the Tripureshwari Micro Finance chit fund in Panisagar sub-division. Today marks the second installment of revelations concerning the chit fund's enticing promises of a prosperous future and the pervasive issue of unemployment.

Sources reveal that the chit fund was established in 2014, with its headquarter situated on Hariganga Basak Road in Agartala. Despite purported registration under the Companies Act from the Registrar of Companies in Shillong for the North Eastern region, a glaring absence of licensing for money transactions, specifically in the domain of microfinance, raises suspicions about the legitimacy of the company's operations under the directorship of Uddipan Chakma. The crucial question on the minds of the public: Is the organization conducting business illegally and deceiving its patrons?

Notably, when Uddipan Chakma was apprehended in Panisagar by local officials, he urgently contacted an individual, identified as Nirmal Babu. Uddipan Chakma urged the individual to facilitate the immediate return of the security deposit of ₹50,000 for those who had invested in the chit fund. This revelation has led the public to believe that the fate of the security deposit money may be easily predictable.

Despite collecting ₹50,000 as a security deposit from numerous youths in Damchara, reports indicate that workers appointed through various offices in Kailashahar were required to pay ₹25,000 to ₹30,000. Questions arise about the chit fund's policies, as discrepancies in deposit amounts based on location become apparent. Numerous complaints asserting that in several instances, not a single rupee was collected. This has left the public skeptical about the sustainability of the venture from its inception.

Suspicions grow as the chit fund allegedly establishes offices covertly in Kailashahar sub-division, particularly in Chandipur and Fatikray. Unconfirmed sources suggest that BJP workers, including the names of ministers Tinku Roy and Sudhanshu Das have reportedly aligned themselves with Uddipan Chakma's chit fund. Family members of these politicians are said to hold prominent positions within the chit fund, such as branch manager and assistant managers. Although the location of the Chandipur office remains undisclosed, rumors hint at considerable activity in Bazar Ghat.

Further reports from unverified sources indicate that Minister Tinku Roy is contemplating joining the chit fund. The association of a public leader with such a financial venture invariably enhances its credibility, leading people to invest blindly. Allegations suggest that some leaders in Chandipur might be leveraging this strategy, although the veracity of these claims remains unconfirmed. In an interesting turn of events, Uddipan Chakma is reportedly staying at the Nirmala Hotel in Kailashahar, according to additional sources.

This is a Bureau Report from Tripura Pioneer Group shedding light on the unfolding situation.
