Akal Diwali festival with Pujacharana at Solagai Bazar Ram Janaki Mandir in Assam

After about 500 years of burning, the Ram Temple was finally established in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh on the orders of the Supreme Court.  In this context, Ramlala's life was established on 22nd January in the newly built temple at the pre-determined Mahendra Yoga. On this day, there was a ray of full fledged joy all over the country.  Patharkandi in Karimganj district of Assam was not far behind. Around the ceremony, various Math Mandir Devalayas in the area were cleaned and decorated.

 On Monday, on the day of the main function, Mahaprasad was distributed along with Pujarchana throughout the day at Ramjanaki Mandir located in Salgai Bazar of Hatikhira GP of Loairpoa Block of Assam Samsht. Drishti Nandan Akal Diwali has been observed in the evening.  In this regard, the organizers said that with the full cooperation of the locals, Bhajan Kirtan started from Monday morning at the Ram Janaki Mandir located in Salgai Bazar. On this day, a rally decorated with the living Rama, Lakshman, Sita and Hanuman came out from several places in the area. In the afternoon there was Mahayagna and Mahaprasad distribution.  In the evening, there was Mangaldwip lighting with 1001 earthen lamps. Besides, candle lighting was also done with Bahari-style banana tree gate and Tuni set decorations.  Akal Diwali has been also celebrated in different houses on this day. All together the day was observed at full fledged.
