Retired Supreme Court Judge of Bangladesh nabbed by BGB

A retired judge of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh was caught red-handed at the border while fleeing the country to India. He was apprehended from the northeastern border while fleeing through the Kanighat border in Sylhet late on Friday night. Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) nabbed him. The news came hours after Awami League leader ASM Feroze was arrested from his residence.
Retired Supreme Court Justice Shamsuddin Chowdhury Manik has been detained, the BGB headquarters told reporters through an SMS. He tried to cross to India through the Kanighat border in Sylhet. According to a media source in Bangladesh, former Justice Shamsuddin Chowdhury Manik was kept in the BGB camp till midnight.
