Again stigmatized Belonia Women's PS

A 15 year old minor due to not agreeing to an ill offer, attempt was made to molest her by blocking the way on the way to school.  Knowing this incident, the minor's family along with the minor, filed a written complaint against the youth at the Belonia WPS last night at 9.30 pm. The incident of beating up the minor girl and attempting to sexually assault her took place in the Belonia area under the police station. Allegations have arisen that after filing a written complaint, WPS does not take any effective action, an Inspector of Mahila Thana advises the minor's family to seek redressal. Raising this allegation, the minor's family became the focus of the media and demanded punishment for the guilty youth. 

Again this stigmatized Belonia women's police station. The indifference of the helpless family is advised to take stock of the incident as if the well-meaning people including the helpless family are not able to accept it. Due to such disorganization among the youth, minor education is now on the verge of being stopped. This girl cannot go to school because she is afraid, every now and then the young man blocks her path. Where the government wants to save girls and educate girls, if girls' education is stopped because of the fear of some such youth, then the government's slogan 'save girl child, educate girl child' will fade away, this is what is wandering in the minds of the people. Now it remains to be seen what action the security administration will take in this incident.
